From my early youth drawning and painting became a passion. A week without painting is a lost week. From still life in water-colour, in the beginning, to landscapes in pastel of which I made sketches during my travels, I got more and more portrait tasks. And now a lot of portraits later I became fascinated by oriental countries, such as China, Nepal, India, Japan, Vietnam and Egypt.
The landscape, culture, the mysticism and living habits which I encounter in these countries buoys me enormously. During each travel I acquire so many impressions, which I then develop in my work shop.
My models I mostly show turned in itself, in search of harmony with the world around us. Portraits sometimes monochromatic of, then set up of exuberantly colours with strong strokes or palette knife. Keep watching, the identity of my model continues preserve.
Also the terracotta army in China has left a deep impression on me behind and remains an inexhaustible inspirational source for much of my paintings, which I entrust sometimes to soft pastel on special board, or sometimes in acrylic to the canvas.
