Born on 18 August, 1962 in Iasi, Romania.
Ø Education and experience:
→Graduated from the Faculty of Psychology “Al. I. Cuza “, Iasi.
→Graduated from University of Art ”George Enescu” of Iasi, Romania, class artist prof.
Ø Member of the Association of Artists & Fine Arts Pieria, Greece.
Ø Doctor of Psychology (PHD) in 1999; Since 1990 she works as researcher in the Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch, Economic and Social Research Institute “Gh Zane”.
Ø S carries a rich associate lecturer teaching in the universities of Iasi, including the Academy of Arts “George Enescu” (between 1996-2008). In this way, the concern for artistic creation is enhanced by addressing the domain of art from psychological and science view, by teaching at the Arts Academy of Iasi, courses on psychology of art, psychosociology of art, educational psychology and pedagogy.
Ø Coordinator for ROMANIA in the International Art Project ”ZONE OF FRIENDSHIP, PEACE AND LOVE” (2016-2017), initiated in GREECE, THESSALONIKI-NAUSSA, by MARIA LOUMPOURDI, GREEK ART UNION.
Multi-awarded in Romania, Italy, Holland (more than 15 awards for painting, 2012-2017).
Participated in more than 45 group exhibitions (Greece, Romania, Austria, Germany, Italy) and published her art in 12 group painting albums.
Realized 14 personal exhibitions (GREECE and ROMANIA).
Marinela Rusu is also the author of numerous papers and volumes of psychology (as author or coordinator):
“Emotions and compensation” (2001); “The science of consciousness” (2002);
“Emotional Intelligence” (2005); ”Introduction to Pedagogy” (2006)
“Teenagers of the XXI century – opportunities and risks in personal development” (2010).
”Affective dimension of personality” (coord. 2012); ”Manifestation and self-regulation of emotions” (coord. 2013). ”EMOTIONS - from knowledge to self-regulation” (2016).
She realized many cover pages for collective volumes but also for her own edited books.
In the last years (2010-2017) she organized international conferences in Romanian Academy, ”Gh. Zane” Institute of Iași, with themes of Art and Psychology of Art.
